Plant a Garden with Ease with Scotts Gro-ables!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gro-ables. All opinions are 100% mine.

As most of you know, eating clean isn't without sacrifice. Many of us shop several grocery stores and farmers markets before we find fresh ingredients for our recipes. This can be both time consuming and down-right expensive. Why not grow your own vegetables? That's exactly what we are doing! Not only does it help us save some coin, but we are sneaking in a little exercise too while tending to our garden.

How are we doing it? Well, we told you about Scott's new Gro-ables product several months ago and since the frost is finally gone here in GA (this weather has been nuts) we wanted to update you on just how simple and easy the Scott's Gro-ables seeds are to plant.  While you might be serious about wanting fresh herbs and vegetables to use in your clean eating dishes, you don't have to be a serious gardner to use them. The guesswork of how and what to plant is taken out and in fact, Scott's guarantees that their Gro-ables product will yield results when planted as directed. Cool, huh? These are basically fool proof.

Want to know another good thing? They are really cheap! Like the price of one or two pieces of produce at your local grocery store. Depending on your market, they range from $1.29-1.49 per seed pod.
Planting is simple - you can do it in a raised be garden like we did or even in planter pots in your back yard, a sunny deck or even a sunny window sill in an apartment. Simply take the top off of the pod, hollow out a little area in your garden soil, drop the pod in, making it flush with your soil and add a little water. That's it - all there is to it!

Still have questions about supplementing, or growning all of your veggies using the Scotts Gro-ables products? The Sprout-It website will help you determine your seed pod needs for the garden of your dreams! Check out this handy guide for building a basic garden for your household.

Although our plants aren't quite ready yet to harvest, our mouth has been watering over the recipe for the Veggie Skewers with Cilantro Pesto that we told you about before. We just can't wait to make it with the fresh herbs and vegetables from our garden. What recipe would you make using Scotts Gro-ables?
