Quest Cookies & Cream Dunkers


Craving something sweet?  Quest just released their new Cookies & Cream protein bar which is delicious plain plus it has 21g of protein with only 3g of active carbs!  However, we wanted to spice things up - think in terms of chocolate dipped Oreos!  Try this one out and let us know what you think!

1/2 tsp coconut oil, melted
20-30 g dark chocolate

1. Melt coconut oil in microwave (approximately 30 seconds).
2. Melt dark chocolate in microwave (start with 30 seconds and keep checking and stirring).
3. Mix the melted coconut oil and dark chocolate together.
4. Cut the Quest Cookies & Cream protein bar into chunks. Dunk each chunk into the melted mixture.
5. Place the chucks into the refrigerator until chocolate hardens.

Macros (calculated based on using Lindt 70% dark chocolate):
Calories 366
Protein 23 g
Carbs 32 g (only 13 g active carbs)
Fat 22 g

  1. Omg this sounds heavenly! The cookies and cream Quest flavor is my favorite... Great for PMS time.. :-)

  2. I am pretty sure it isnt a good idea to microwave coconut oil as you would change the chemical composition of the oil since microwaving kills alot of nutrients. Just a suggestion but I personally would warm on the stovetop.

  3. Break the quest bar into pieces and bake at 350 for 8 min.
