Guilt-less Black Bean Puree and Dip

Wow! I can't believe January is almost over and the Super Bowl is this weekend! Are you ready? We wanted to share one of our Super Bowl favorites with you. Essentially, this is a puree, but you can process it more or less depending on it's function - it can be a dip, an appetizer, an ingredient or even a side dish!

Guilt-less Black Bean Puree and Dip


Ingredients:
2 cans organic, low sodium black beans, rinsed
2/3 cup diced sweet yellow onion
1/2 cup 2% plain greek yogurt
1 clove garlic
1/2 TBSP olive oil
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin

Directions:
Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse to desired consistency - it's that easy!

Makes approximately 12 servings.

Approximate Metrics per Serving:
Calories: 81
Carbs: 14g
Protein: 5g
Fat: 2g

    1. You could toast some Ezekiel Tortillas and cut them up or try it with some cut up veggies like celery sticks, cucumbers and carrots.

  2. Looks delish! Question though. How is there no fat if you are using 2% greek yogurt and olive oil. Also, beans have a little bit of fat in them.
