Gluten Free Recipe Substitutions

You may have noticed that a lot of our recipes are gluten free.  It isn't as hard as people think to eat gluten free.  Below are some of our favorite substitutions. We will have more information on this topic soon!

Below are our favorite brands of the above gluten free products.  We order most of our gluten free products on Amazon but most can be found in specialty stores like Whole Foods or Earth Fare.

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Oats (grind in a food processor)

  1. I bought coconut flour and almond flour but I am not sure how to incorporate them into my recipes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Oats contain gluten- not a lot at all, but those with a sensitive case of Celiac's Disease or a gluten sensitivity will become sick. I'd recommend replacing oats with rice derivatives. I work in a gluten-free bakery and hold a degree in Dietetics from KSU.
