  1. Two quick questions: How many days a week is this training, as I am currently training for a marathon and wonder if it's feasible to do both? Can these workouts be done with free weights/body weight if someone doesn't have access to a gym?

    Thanks!!

    1. Hi Rebecca!
The workout is structured any where from 5 days to 6 days/week with appropriate rest days. I would caution you from doing this and your marathon training together. You definitely won't build the amount of muscle we have structured the workout to build because of the amount of running you will have to do. However, you could definitely modify this and then pick up the full workout once your marathon is over.
You could possibly use free weights for this, but the workouts do incorporate cable exercises and bar exercises which provide a variance of range of motion than free weights.
Hope that helps! We hope you join us soon!
      Tiffany

    1. There aren't any specific time limits on the workouts, but you should be able to accomplish them in an hour. Some days it will take you about 40 minutes while others may be longer.

  4. What about a menu plan? Do you have anything like that?

    1. Unfortunately, at this time we don't have a menu plan. Legally, we cannot distribute a plan because we are not Registered Dietitians.

  5. So exciting! But we single moms don't usually have the child care we need to get to the gym. Can you also put together an at-home version that I can do while my kids are still in bed? If it wouldn't be for my weights and treadmill in the basement at 5am, I'd never be able to work out!

    1. Hi!
I know how you feel! Jim travels 44 weeks out of the year so I am often at home for 5 days with no childcare and/or help to get to the gym. If a gym workout is something you crave, I highly encourage you to test out gyms that have childcare. Most of them do, unless they are a 24 hr type gym and most are open until 8pm. It took us trying a couple gyms before we found one that we were comfortable with their childcare program. Surprisingly, it's affordable too! Only $10 more per month!
We are working on an at-home version but it will be a while until it is released.

    2. I used to be able to use the childcare at a gym, but at 8, 9, and 12, my kids are too "old" to be happy hanging out with the young kids who go there, but too young to stay by themselves. It's a great resource though for baby/toddler ages!

  6. A TRX version would work too, for those of us who are at-home people (just saw your ad for TRX)!

    1. I train a TON of my clients with the TRX - it's amazing and very versatile. We are currently working on sharing some workouts on the blog. Thanks for the suggestion!

  7. Can you show a preview of the workouts? ;-)

    1. Honestly, I don't know if a sample would really help to determine anything. I'll tell you how the workout is structured - that may provide more insight! The workout is broken down into 5 phases - each with a specific purpose and different workout progressions so that your body doesn't get used to one exercise and become too efficient (and doesn't produce muscle growth). We focus on building muscle first and foremost and then start you shredding body fat. The workouts are designed with traditional training exercises and are best done in a gym that has free weights, bars/plates and cables. I hope that helps you!

  8. Is there cardio included? Or will that be extra workouts on top?

    1. We tell you when you should do cardio. We also have 2 new HIIT routines included!

  9. Is the program too challenging for someone who hasn't worked out for quite a while? I'm afraid that I'll get intimidated by all the buff guys because I don't know what I'm doing.

    1. We have made the plan so you can ease into it with the first week. Don't be intimidated - you are working on your physique too!
Make sure you enlist some help to determine the appropriate way to complete the exercises though!

    1. This is a gym specific routine, but if you are experienced, you can modify it for home use. We are also working on a home version to be released in 2014.
