Clean Eat Recipe :: Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake


2 oz liquid egg whites (pasteurized)
4-6 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 Tbsp natural peanut butter or almond butter
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
Stevia, to taste
A few ice cubes

Blend all ingredients together & enjoy!  We use a Vitamix.

Protein: 31 g
Carbs: 6 g
Fat: 11 g

  1. Im in the beginning stages of lifestyle change. It seems there is a lot of fat in the shake? Is that ok? Would you use this as meal or pre/post workout?

  2. I would use this as my last meal of the day . Best not to have fats pre/post workout. Imo.

  3. Just an FYI for people looking to eat clean, be choosy with your almond milk as some do contain carrageenan, a controversial food additive linked to cancer.
